Aspire achieves CHAS accreditation

CHASAspire are delighted to announce that they have achieved CHAS (Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme) accreditation.

CHAS assesses applicants on their health and safety policy statement, their organisation for health and safety as well as specific health and safety arrangements.

Developed in 1997, the main aims of CHAS are to improve health and safety standards across Great Britain and to reduce duplicated safety applications for both suppliers and buyers.

Aspire Managing Director, Nigel Begg, said: “CHAS is rapidly becoming an industry standard so it was vital that Aspire become accredited. This means that organisations who participate in the system can now logon to the database and check our current status and it will allow an uninterrupted transparency in the lengthy chain of the pre-qualification system.”
