Highlighting Innovation at the CBI Annual Conference

This month the Aspire team joined business leaders and policymakers at the CBI Annual Conference.

The conference was an opportunity to explore how the UK can tackle challenges and seize opportunities in today’s competitive global economy. The focus of the day was providing practical steps to drive growth, building resilience and fostering innovation in a competitive global environment.

Speakers emphasised the need for a clear industrial strategy to support sustainable growth, with a particular focus on unlocking infrastructure projects that are critical to the UK’s future.

During her first major speech since the Autumn Budget, Rain Newton-Smith, Chief Executive of the CBI, discussed the valuable impact businesses are having on communities across the UK.
