To celebrate our move to our new Pipewell Quay HQ, we held a special Official Grand Opening event with our customers and partners who’ve helped us get to this point.
Pipewell Quay is much more than a building to us. It symbolises our growth and the journey that Aspire has been on the past 15 years. That journey would not have been possible if not for our brilliant customers, partners and people who have helped build Aspire in to what it is today.
We were very lucky to have the legendary Sir Brendan Foster CBE in attendance, who cut the ribbon and said a few words about his relationship with Aspire. During his storied athletics career, Sir Brendan represented Great Britain at the Olympics and European Championships, as well as England at the Commonwealth Games. He then went on to organise the Great North Run in 1981, the largest half marathon in the world, later establishing The Great Run Company.
