After big night of celebrations at this year’s Insider Dealmaker Awards 2024, we’re delighted to announce that Aspire’s CEO and Founder, Chris Fraser, has been named Entrepreneur of the Year.
The awards, hosted by North East Business Insider and held at the Hilton Newcastle Gateshead, celebrate the contributions and achievements of the region’s dealmaking community.
Chris was selected by an independent panel of judges and his win is a testament to his vision, entrepreneurial spirit, and long-term approach to building value. The judges were particularly impressed with Chris’s vision during this year’s transformative period, including the acquisition of Cloud Cover IT.
Under Chris’s leadership, Aspire has achieved substantial growth, supported by a strategic investment from LDC, who also won Private Equity/Venture Capital Firm of the Year!
The judges noted that LDC has built excellent connections with the local advisory community and leverages this in every transaction, covering the full spectrum of corporate finance advice from legal and tax to commercial due diligence and insurance.
