The Challenge
Previously, Nixon Hire’s WAN was suitable for their business requirements when the infrastructure was first installed, but as the business continued to grow, they required a more resilient network to meet their evolving requirements.
To achieve this, Nixon Hire turned to Aspire to design and implement a WAN solution to link their 20 sites. Aspire’s technical ability, innovative design and reputation for customer service were key factors in their decision to engage.
As an Internet Service Provider partnering with all of the major carriers, Aspire were able to use different network carriers for the solution, ensuring the best service and pricing available. From the 20 sites across the Nixon Hire network, 15 of these have dedicated leased lines terminating into Aspire’s privately owned data centre, whilst the remainder have separate leased lines from other network carriers terminating into alternative data centres. This ensures 100% uptime and backup resilience. All sites have EoFTTC, FTTC or 4G backup connections.
Since the successful WAN implementation, Nixon Hire have seen a reduction in downtime. The network has given them a more flexible and cost-effective way to connect to their offices. The company can now rely on fast, secure and stable connections enabling their staff to work more productively to support their continued growth ambitions.
